How to Take Multiple Choice Tests: 1) On scratch paper make 2 columns - one with one check mark, and one with two. 2) When you come across a question you are not totally sure of but can narrow it down to one of the answers, put the number in front of the colums and put one check mark, and move on. 3) If you come across a question that you have absolutley no idea put the number in front of the colums and put two check marks, and move on. 4) The test may unfold as you take it and you may remember the answers, or find the answers in another question on the test. 5) After you have gone through the test once and answered what you know, go back and look at the questions with one check mark to see if you can now answer them. 6) Then go back over again and look at the ones with two check marks - be sure to guess if you still don't know the answer (as you have a chance from guessing - you get it wrong if you leave it blank). 7) If you are still totally unsure of a question, you may want to select the longest answer, as it may often be the correct one on multiple choice tests. 8) Cross off the numbers that have check marks on your scratch paper as you work back through the test and answer them. 9) At the end of the test you can gauge how you did by the number of questions that have the single check mark, or double check mark.
